The Biblical Alternative to Recovery!
If you or someone you know wants to be free from drugs, alcohol, anger, depression, overeating or any other controlling force, then you've come to the right place! The Victorious Overcomers Support Group is a non-denominational program that believes you can live totally free from any form of addiction or compulsion through the power of God.
We teach from a powerful, life-changing Seven Victory Step curriculum that is based solely on biblical principles. Though the Bible is our foundation, this program is based not on a religion but rather on its participants experiencing the reality of a personal relationship with God—the true source of all help! We often hear the cliché, “God helps those who help themselves,” but this is not true! God helps those who want to be helped, and he is willing to help you now.
As you progress through this program, you will begin to experience a new life of victory over the addictive and compulsive behaviors that have been controlling you and holding you down. Unlike other programs, we focus only on the positive and never on the negative. True change does not come by living in the past and dredging up its failures but by completely replacing the old lifestyle with a new life of victory. This program encourages, builds up, strengthens and focuses on that new life. Established in 1989, we have helped many lead a life free from addictions and compulsions and are also here to help you. Since most Victorious Overcomers Support Group volunteer staff members have a history of either an addictive, abusive or compulsive lifestyle, we can easily relate to those who come to us for help. Having allowed God to do his miraculous work in our lives, we now stand ready to help you gain freedom from whatever is holding you down.

How is this program different from AA and other self-help groups?
Unlike recovery-type programs on which participants form a life-long dependency, our program empowers you to lead a stable and disciplined life that is free from controlling addictions and behaviors. We believe that even though you may be struggling with issues such as anger, fear, smoking, overeating, or drug or alcohol abuse, those issues neither define you nor are part of your identity. On the contrary, you can live completely free from these issues for the rest of your life.
